Not MIA

So I haven’t fallen off the edge of the earth guys.
I was hoping to post some great wonderful post today because bf left this morning to go spend a week with his mommy.
Unfortunately her significant other past away in feb and bf being the wonderful son that he is, has gone 3hrs away to change her winter tires and get out all her summer patio furniture and do some work on her property that needs to be done for the summer.
There has been some exgf drama here and I was afraid to post and actually thought about packing this blog in and starting another one. But this time being unanimous. Then I thought screw that and I was planning to vent my frustration about this person in a long post today but bf took his laptop which was hooked up to his rocket stick to which is our only link to the Internet.

Le sigh, and now I am stuck out in the country with no Internet except what I have with my cute new iPhone.

Never fear my friends I shall write up this post about this psycho chick download it on my stick and upload this gossip Monday morning from my computer at school (yah I know freaking genius that I am) !

I realized something this week tho, I really am cute and sooooo funny and bf is so super lucky to have a sweet ass chick like me

Giveaway Sunday!!! (or just cause I’m a dumbass)

Soooo,,,I did a stupid thing this past week.

My most favorite author is Penny Vincenzi and I have been waiting for her to put out a new book,,I got super excited when I saw this book at the library:

 

You can imagine my disappointment when I got home and realized that this is the exact same book I bought last year to read whilst down on our Mexico trip (i’m still a bit bitter that I didn’t get to travel there this winter still).  So,,,I turned around and returned the book. This was on like Monday or Tuesday.

Fast forward to Friday,,,,and I was perusing my local Walmart,,,and saw in there Book section ANOTHER new book by my beloved Author,,,,I snapped that puppy up asap,,,I just knew I hadn’t read this ONE,,,it had a different cover and was in the “NEW, Just RELEASED” section.

Sigh,,,I got home, poured myself a nice large glass of vino,,went out to my pretty garden, and sat my purty butt in a luxurious Muskoka chair,,,instructed bf I was not to be disturbed,,,while I submerged myself into another world for the afternoon,,,,,,,,

It lasted maybe 2.5mins till I realised that this was the EXACT same book.

I took the book back to Walmart,,,and the pricks wouldn’t let me return it!

So,,,,my friends this book is available to whoever would like it!!!

Sooooo,,,,,I was going to post a super awesome post but,,,

I finally got my brand new iphone,,,,and all the pics for my yummy post are stuck on my old raggedy Blackberry,,,,boo.

So, today I shall update you all on my life.

School is going ok,,,i’m finishing up my second week of introduction to computers. I’m actually done 2 days early but have to be here at the school in person at least, so I shall be posting on wordpress, facebooking, twittering and surfing porn for 2 FULL days!

I went to get my car back on the road, took it to the service centre to find out what would need to be done to get it going, and went to my insurance company and no sooner paid out the cash and was walking out the door when the auto shop called to tell me that the repairs would be more than what the car is worth, and didn’t advise me to put the money into it. Grrrr…..I turned around went back into the insurance place and they very nicely reimbursed me my money.

So, last night BF and I went looking for a new “used” vehicle, at a well known car dealership in our area, where he also worked at for awhile and he has also purchased about 6 vehicles in the past there. So I feel fairly comfortable with this place.

We found a nice 2003 Kia Sonata mini van that suits my needs (I basically just need a vehicle to drive to and from school for a year). I paid the $80 up front for them to perform  a safety check this morning and now I’m just waiting for the results of this check,,to decide if we should go thru with the purchase or not.

I sooooooo hate doing anything that has to do with cars, mostly because I am clueless when it comes to them.

In other news,,,ummm welll,,,,hmmmmm,,,did I mention I got my new iphone yesterday??? So I can now wordpress on the GO!

First I need to learn how to use this stinking thing,,,guess I better spend some quality time with my kiddo’s this wknd, so they can give me a lesson.

OMG

I suck soooo bad lately,,,I haven’t posted in awhile and my friends I have no excuses for it.

I haven’t done anything spectacular, I haven’t been busy, or travelling,,nope, no excuses. Just lazy.

I can’t even say that I have been working because I got let go from the Real Estate job last week

Earlier in the month, they closed up a branch office because the landlord where they were renting space decided to double the rent and they wouldn’t pay it, so because I am the minion that was the last one hired, I got let go and the girl from the other office got my job.

In other news, I have officially graduated the Level 1 Dental Assistant Course and have decided that I really don’t want to do the Level 2 part because honestly,,I really, really HATE, despise working directly in the mouth and would never use those skills.

My real passion is the Administrative part of the medical field, so I’ve decided to take another course and this time it’s for Medical Adminstration, I want to learn Medical Transcription so that I can do that part-time while working hopefully in the Hospital area, while I pay off my school debts and hopefully branch out and work for myself as a Medical Transcriptionist.

This course starts next Mon April 14th,,,I feel horrible not working whilst I just moved in with Bf,,so I’m looking for a part time job as well to help pay my way.

I learned some stuff about Bf this wknd.

1. He loves his lawn and more definately loves his riding lawn mower.

2. I learned on Sunday,,,,just how much he HATE, HATE, HATES,,,shopping or perusing for things! It was his idea to go into town to the local Canadian Tire Store to buy some brackety thing a ma bobs. And, as he said to have a gander at spring gardening things.

What I didn’t expect was to do this at break neck speed! I literally, was miles behind him like one of those subserviant servants in the middle east,,,,as I was trying to actually have a look at gardening pots, flowers, seeds, and such.

I actually got a little ticked off,,,I got even more ticked off when I realized the reason for the record breaking visit to the Hardware store was so that we would be home in time for the Nascar race! Which,,I ended up watching and dozing thru mostly by myself as he was busy hanging up his brackets,and showing off his new riding mower to the neighbours grrrrr.

Lesson of the weekend my friends? I shall go window shopping/perusing by myself before I bring him,,,and then shall let him pay!

But at least I saw my first Robin of the year,,,,Spring is here finally!!

 

AND, now I’m going to take my lazy ass outside on this spring fresh day and read!

Yaaayyyy,,,, bf stopped on his way home from work and got all the rest of my junk stuff last night, while I was back at his house watching trash tv,,, being a domestic diva and cooking a super awesome dinner for my hard working man!

So here it is folks,,,our little love shack out in the country.

Awww,,,soooo cute I know eh? It’s a old PMQ from the Military Base Borden not far from here,,,it’s had many little additions done to it over the years,,but now we are going to make it a nice homey cottagey feel. Our first job together will be getting it ready for the summer and all the big get togethers and bonfires we are looking forward to having,,everyone’s invited!

This is the small little porch bf added in the fall,,,I plan to put a little chair and table here with a hanging basket full of beautiful flowers from the handrail,,,and I will enjoy my early morning tea and read,,,while the birds sing to me.

This is the side entrance with the bbq,,,the plan is to add more tiles,,get out the summer patio table and umbrella,,get nite lites and tiki candles to sit out at night.

And the best part of the property is this!!!

The BACKYARD,,, you can’t really see it’s endless possibilities,,,but underneath that ugly snow is country splendor abound. There is a big firepit,,and we are going to make a big vegetable/flower garden, add bird,chipmunk & squirrel feeders,,,it’s just going to be super awesome,,when all this shitty snow goes away that is.

So,,,stay tuned for the time to time updates of the progress of our little love nest!
